Microsoft Nokia Deal

Tuesday, May 24, 2011 |
According to the rumors spreading all around the web is that Microsoft is looking forward to acquire Mobile division of Nokia. Yes Microsoft Nokia Deal, Just three months before Microsoft had announced the partnership with Nokia and now they are about to acquire the whole division. Then whats the main deal to announce the partnership. Just a week before Microsoft acquired skype for $8.5 bn. Then what does this deal before 3 months mean? Is Microsoft planning to acquire the entire web or they are having something supersonic plan with having Skype and Nokia. Whatever it is but sounds feels like they are about to going great.

If the deal turns true, the mobile market of Nokia and web market of Skype are in hands of Microsoft, then they will soon impact with their services in the whole world !..

The source of these reports is Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin. Murtazin focuses mostly on phones and has a pretty decent track record. Though he doesn’t know the finer details, Murtazin claims both parties are in a hurry and that the deal could close before the end of this year.

And speaking of time-specific predictions, Murtazin has also said that Elop would resign from Nokia at the end of next year.

100th Post: My Blogging Journey

Saturday, October 2, 2010 |
Today in the evening, i login into my Blogger dashboard.I found that i am going to write my 100th post.I was very excited !! I click on the New Post button & started thinking the Title... After thinking i picked up 3 titles & ask my friends on facebook to choose the good catchy one. They were happy too & giving me compliments.

While they were giving their opinions,i just went to my Edit Posts page to see my journey from 0 to 99 posts,i was shocked ! there was an unpublished (Draft) Post which means i have to write one more post as that will be my 99th post. Now i was Unhappy & sad. Because now i have to think for my new post but soon i got my new post i.e. my 99th post NFS Hot pursuit.

After that, Once again i came back to selection of  title for my 100th Post. Most of my friends like-

          *** 100th Post: My Blogging Journey ***

So Tonight I’m writing my 100th blog post on kamleshinside.blogspot.com. Back when I began this blog in May 2009. My First Post was About Me. This was my first post Not my first Blog! As before kamleshinside.blogspot.com i had opened many other blogs with many Email IDs.I also found that this is the 12th month of my blogging which resembles that i have completed my 100th post in one year.

Why i became Blogger ?

I was highly inspired from my brother Ritesh Kawadkar who blogs at askritesh at that time.He is a Tech blogger. One day he showed his blog,Visitor stats,Comments, etc. I was Highly Impressed Name,Fame & ofcourse blog.He also told me about the Google Adsense. At the very same time i decided to open my Tech blog to make money online. After posting 5 posts i applied for google adsense. Google replies that "your site must be 6 months old". Then i came to know more about google adsense as i searched most of the thing about it.

So Why i became Blogger ? answer is simple just for Name,Fame & Money.

Mistakes

SEO, Copyright policy, was unknown for me.So i steal posts/contents especially of my brother blogs. (but i deleted all those posts after getting known about it.)

After some days i decided to open another blog as i didn't got the success on my first blog, so i made 1 more Email ID & so the blog. Through each blog i applied for google adsense. This process continues till i saw the create a blog option on right hand side in blogger Dashboard, which means we can start many blogs under one email id.

Finally i made another email id & start blogging. Here comes the another problem i.e. blog url, i was thinking, finding, then sunddenly my eyes stick to CPU & i got my Blog url "KamleshInside" (nonsense!) i have modified "Intel Inside".

This hilarious blog url makes me sad, but now i cannot change it.However the SEO gives me some relief.

I was not updating my blog regularly.Leave regularity, i am updating my blog after 3 months.as a result i lose my loyal visitors.

Mistakes i made- Many blogs, Bad blog url, No knowledge of SEO, Stealing Contents, Running behind money.,etc

Google Adsense

As i have told you above that from each blog i applied for google adsense. As a result my adsense account was approved on my first blog but soon it was disabled because i have applied for it again from another blog with another email id.This keeps on going as it is against google adsense policy & i keep on opening blogs with different email id.About this i come to know when i was login in my some old blogs & email accounts.

However, finally my adsense was approved in April 2010 & i earned more than 170$ just in 4 months.

But here also problem comes as always, No this time i have not made any mistake, it is the PIN code Verification letter send by google to verify the adsense account. Today it is almost 5 months but still i am waiting for letter. If it doesnt come within 1 month, i will lose my hard earned money :(
Hope i will receive it soon...

Adsense- Dont run behind money! it is not easy to make money, it requires lots of hardwork in every field.

My Blogs

1.MP PET Online counseling- a counseling blog

I remained active on skool to college. It has taught me a lot about SEO, Google Adsense, Popularity, effects of Social bookmarking, etc. All above it, it has solved my purpose of becoming blogger i.e. Name , Fame & Money!. Now i am thinking of opening a counseling website.

2.Kamlesh Inside- a tech blog!

Before posting my first post How To Make Computer Run Faster on kamleshinside.blogspot.com, i have a little knowledge about SEO, Making Money Online, Blogging, etc as i learned it from my mistakes!

Today i am writing my 100th post & i can say that now i am almost Expert in SEO,Google Adsense,Blogging,Blogger Templates,Tips n Tricks,....etc.

The thing i most like is Blogger Template Designing, soon i will start that tag.I was thinking of opening a tech website, but after looking at the Tech Blogs scenario i have postponed it.

However, i am going make kamleshinside a nice tech blog. I will be writing on SEO, Google Adsense, Blogger Templates, Blogger Tools, etc in the coming months.

As it is more than 3hrs. i am continuously writing my 100th post. Now i will say -

Thanks to

1. My elder brother who inspire, guide, motivate & support me.

2. My parents who are paying electricity, Net connection Bills. They never allows me to blog, as they hate computers. But then also i am blogging.

3. My brother vaibhav kawadkar who helps me in blogging.

4. My Friends Ankita gour & Anubha Saxena who helped me a lot.

Moral of the Story

You are going to tell me the Moral of the story! yes, you what message do you get from this post by author Kamlesh Kawadkar. Please comment & share your views...

Now it takes more than 1hr to edit it, i have deleted many parts. I will convert it into form of Tips n Tricks.Soon i will give Tips on it. So stay Tuned to KamleshInside.blogspot.com

Oh! i forget to announce the Giveaway to Celebrate the Completion of 100th Post of kamlesh Inside. In my Next post i will be giving gifts(worth $1230) to my readers...

Orkut infected with Bom Sabado worm‎ - Virus Hit 5 million orkut user profiles

Saturday, September 25, 2010 |
Bom Sabado! This name reminds me of my next door kid who keeps on yelling those “Power Rangers” chants! But it’s not! And this “Bom Sabado” is shaking the entire Orkut from past few hours.
Bom Sabado means “A Good Saturday” in Portuguese language (thanks to Google translation feature). But it’s surely a bad Saturday for many Google’s Orkut users, as this Bom Sabado virus compromised thousands of accounts in India and in Brazil as well.

Please do not Open your ORKUT account for the next 72 hours till further updates from the Google team.

What is Bom Sabado all about?

It’s just the name of the new worm which is eating up the Orkut accounts. If you are a fulltime Orkut user, you are well aware of those virus infections. This is just another Orkut virus, but it’s biggest and you don’t need to click any links to get hacked!

Bom Sabado Orkut virus infected profiles are automatically posting virus scraps on to the other’s scrapbooks. A near watching of Bom Sabado scrap in your scrapbook or in your friends’ scrapbooks is more than enough to get your account hacked.

Gone are the days where you have to click on a link to get hacked! This time the hackers used the XSS technology to target one of world’s popular social networking platform Orkut.

The best way to keep your accounts safe is not logging onto the Orkut for some time. Orkut didn’t responded on this issue, but I am pretty sure they would have started working on it to fix the issues.
If you find your account hacked, don’t get panic. Revert back to the old Orkut layout, unjoin from the Brazilian communites, and change your password.

If you can’t access Orkut, simply cleanup the cookies and the temporary internet files from the PC, and try to login.

BOM SABADO!

If you are amongst the few who still give a damn about Orkut, you might have noticed something fishy going on over the past few hours. A large number of users are randomly flooding their friend’s scrapbooks (Orkut’s equivalent of Facebook Wall) with the following message:
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the “Bom Sabado!” messages are automatically generated by a script. However, it is not clear if this is simply a script exploiting vulnerability in Orkut, or have the accounts sending the automated scraps been compromised.

If you are amongst those affected, it’s highly recommended that you follow the steps highlighted below:

Switch to the “older version” of Orkut.
Log out of Orkut.
Clean your browser’s cache and cookies.
Log in and change your password and security question.
If you haven’t been affected yet, it is strongly advised that you avoid Orkut until the issue has been resolved. I managed to trigger the same exploit while researching this article. Recently other high profile websites like Twitter and YouTube also fell victim to XSS attacks.

This is a latest News on Virus Attack. The Full Story is still to come, so stay tuned to Kamlesh Inside

Latest Update -

1. The worm appears to have originated in Brazil, where Orkut is still exceptionally popular. Many of the affected users are noticing the Brazilian flag on their status messages. Additionally, the word ‘Bom Sabado’ means ‘Good Saturday’ in Portuguese, which is the official language of Brazil. We are still awaiting an official response from Google.

2. ‘Bom Sabado’ is now trending on Google.

Bug  Status :
Problem is Under Control, Bug Not Fixed  (Keep Visit to know the status)

Please do not Open your ORKUT account for the next 72 hours till further updates from the Google team.

# What is Browser Performance ?

Firstly you must know what is browser performance? we need to understand what makes a good browser.
There are several sub-systems in the browser that leads to superior browser performance. It includes JavaScript, DOM, HTML parsing, CSS parser, formatting, layout, rendering, etc. Different sites have different requirements and hence the time spent on each of these sub systems. One site might be spending more time in DOM and JavaScript engine whereas other might require time for formatting and layout.

For checking the improvement in the overall performance of the browser, SunSpider test is commonly used. When the performance of IE9 preview version was tested, the team found it to be better than Firefox and IE8.

Another test of standard compliance is Acid3 which tests around 100 aspects of different technologies. Preview version of IE9 scores 32 out of 100. These scores are bound to improve as the team is still working on factors like CSS selectors.

# Features of Internet Explorer 9

New JavaScript Engine -Chakra

IE team came up with a new code called Chakra. The time that gets wasted by any web application in online running is due to JavaScript. Hence, faster JavaScript engine would mean that the application will run faster. Looking at the demands of people for faster JavaScript engine, this new code was developed. According to the SunSpider JavaScript benchmarks, IE9 is around five times as fast as IE8. Also, Chakra has got valuable features like:

1.Background compilation.

2.Type optimization.

3.Fast interpretation.

4.Library optimization.

# Hardware Acceleration

IE9 has come with the DirectX family of Windows API's (application programming interfaces). This helps the web developers to move the text and graphic rendering from CPU to graphics card. The graphic card is equipped with Direct2D and DirectWrite APIs. Acceleration of graphics would mean graphically rich and intensive sites would open at a faster speed and use less of your CPU. Direct2D has also led to improved font quality and increased readability with positioning of sub-pixel. Also, the web writer need not rewrite the site to be opened in IE9.

# SVG Support

IE9 also has scalable vector graphics which helps in creating powerful and attention grabbing visuals. The SVG features supported in the preview version are:

1.Basic geometrical shapes such as lines, polylines, circle, rectangle, ellipses and polygons.

2.Coordinates systems, units and transforms

3.Full capability of d-attribute, path element and colors.

4.Metadata and extensibility.

5.Document structure, styling and scripting.

# HTML5

We know that HTML is the code on which everything on the net runs. HTML5 is the new and most powerful edition of this code. Along with the features line Cross document messaging, Ajax navigation, DOM storage, ononline and onoffline event handlers that appeared in IE8, HTML5 also has selection APIs element in IE9. This will help IE keep up with the trends that are set with the existing set of web browsers of increasing browsing speed and quality.

HTML5 has improved HTML parsing of generic elements and overlapping tags. This has also improved parsing changes from script to script blocks, parsing SVG in HTML and parsing XHTML.

# CSS

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a style sheet language used to describe the look and formatting of any web pages. IE9 has included several feature of CSS3. CSS2, which was included in IE8, had several complains. Improvements have been done in that direction and the new features of CSS3 added in IE9 are:

1.Backgrounds and borders module

2.Color module

3.Namespace selector module

4.CSS3 selectors

# Features Still Missing

Though IE9 is a good product, especially for web developers, experts feel that there are some features of HTML5 missing in the browser. These features are present in Firefox and Chrome. This includes open web front support, Ogg Theora for videos instead of the existing H.264 codec, web workers and canvas elements. There is another disappointing bullet in the announcement regarding the Windows XP users. It says that IE9 can only be installed if you have Windows Vista or Windows 7. It will not work on Windows XP version.

Good Bye Floppy Disk

Monday, May 10, 2010 |

Floppy Disk a data storage device is now considered as almost dead.Once it was very useful device to store data. Today, the only manufacturing company of Floppy Disk that is SONY said that they will stop production of Floppy Disk from next year. Due to wide spreading of internet & better options of Data storage capacity, Floppy disk lose its status.

What is Floppy Disk ?

A floppy disk is a data storage medium that is composed of a disk of thin, flexible ("floppy") magnetic storage medium encased in a square or rectangular plastic shell.Floppy disks are read and written by a floppy disk drive.Invented by the American information technology company IBM, floppy disks in 8 inch, 5¼ inch and 3½ inch forms enjoyed nearly three decades as a popular and ubiquitous form of data storage and exchange, from the mid-1970s to the late 1990s. While floppy disk drives still have some limited uses, especially with legacy industrial computer equipment, they have now been superseded by USB flash drives, external hard disk drives, CDs, DVDs, and memory cards.

How Floppy Disk Works ?
A floppy disk is an obsolete storage format that was used on personal computers. Each disk, typically 3.5 inches in height, held 1.44 megabytes of data.

Inside the hard plastic case of the floppy disk is a magnetic material used to store data. It is a similar material to the recording material in a cassette tape. When inserted into a drive, the magnetic tape (which is in the shape of a circle) is spun around rapidly, much like a CD.

While spinning, the read/write head of the disk stops at the empty track on the disk. The computer, before sending any information to the disk, quickly checks for things like system stability and whether or not the necessary space is free on the disk.

The write head of the disk sends data to the disk by magnetizing certain parts of the magnetic recording tape. This process is similar in theory to the way the magnetic strip on a credit card works. Once the data is on the floppy, an exact copy has been made--one is on the disk, one is on your computer. You can now take the floppy disk to any computer with a floppy drive and access your files

In 1971, Floppy disk came into existence. It was of 2 types, from which 3.5inch production stops last year & the production second one will be stop by SONY next year. SONY has sold 12mn Floppy disk.

In 2002, demand of floppy disk was 47mn in japan but Zip,CD,DVD,USB has vanish its existence.

It is really hard to believe that it is still in demand. Floppy disk is lucky to find its user in japan & india where it is still selling.
